Free play William Tell and The Wild Arrow slot will have 5×3 reels, each of which will provide players with a total of 25 paylines. The potential is satisfactory, coming in at 10,000 times the stake, as is the rating of medium-high volatility, as is the return to player percentage of 96%.
The slot machine allows you to alter the amount of money that will be allocated to each of the 25 lines, and it does so by reserving a coin for each of the lines. The bets that are placed as a consequence begin at C$0.25 and may go up to C$25.
The look of the game is a bit reminiscent of the Robin Hood story. The backdrop is an animated, beautiful mountainous landscape. The playing field looks like it’s made of wood, fitting in nicely with the theme. The symbols aren’t the highest quality we’ve seen, but maybe that’s intentional to connect with the time period the action takes place. The slot has a number of features that we found interesting and will describe in more detail.
Features of William Tell and The Wild Arrows Slot
- This game will make accessible a number of different elements during the course of its play, one of which is a Wild symbol that may act as a substitute for other symbols.
- One other sign that might appear is the Target, which is the trigger for the Respin feature. You need at least five of them in order to use the Hold & Win feature. Each Target will have a prize that it may give to players, and the value of that prize will range anywhere from one to one hundred times the stake. When Targets symbol appears and becomes sticky, the first three respins will be reset. Because of this feature, there is a chance of winning many fixed jackpots of a relatively low value (up to 100x for Grand Prize).
- During your respins, you have a chance to acquire something called the Split Zone. It is a chance occurrence that an arrow will strike a place, and as a result, the space will be divided into four smaller sections. In locations where there was previously one Target, this can offer you the ability to place four times as many Targets there.
- During the basic spins, a few different modifiers can be helpful as well. With the assistance of William’s Wild Arrow, you have a chance of obtaining up to five Wilds. Another possibility is that Gessler’s Greed will eliminate the low-value Royal symbols from the reels.
- If you pay 60 times your wager, you will directly go to the Free Spins.
William Tell and The Wild Arrows Slot Hold & Win
Our opinion
The game doesn’t perform badly but seems to be missing something. We would have liked to see more frequent payouts since it is not given to be high volatility but medium to high. An interesting feature in the Free Spins is the Arrow, which can split the cell into four parts, thus giving it more fields on which we will have multipliers. What is disappointing are the three jackpots, which have extremely low values.
We are used to seeing much higher values in other games with the Hold & Win feature. The final max win of 10 000 times the bet would attract quite a few players despite the low max bet, which is only 25 Canadian dollars. We recommend that you test out the William Tell and The Wild Arrows slot and see if it fits your vision of a good slot.
