Oh yeah, forget about Wild West, pirates and half-naked ladies. Kind of discouraged, the poor fellas looked through the window of their office, saw all the spring activity and were immediately inspired by nature’s beauty.
One bee flew into the room, and it was decided: Honey and bees would be the theme of their next project, even though there are a few bee-themed slots out there already.
The non-standard 3-4-5-4-3 grid is honeycomb-based, and all the adorable symbols are bee-themed, with 4 quirky bee characters depicting the high-value symbols while some other sweetening symbols are at the lower end. These busy bees offer to share their honey profits with you.
All you have to do is trigger the Pick and Click Babee Bonus round or the Free Spins, and until you do, there are 720 ways to collect regular honey cash. With its Medium Volatility, 97% RTP and a max payout of 220 000 coins (110 000 CAD), it can’t hurt to give Pollen Party slot machine a few spins.
You will not get stung when you try it for free in the DEMO version on our page. Also, no registration is required.
Personal testers’ opinion about Pollen Party slot
- Even though the design of this machine looks outdated just a few years after the release and the silly cartoon style is not everybody’s cup of tea, we still enjoyed the bright colours here and the comic bees. The outcome of our test sessions wasn’t that great, though. It didn’t exceed 62x the total bet, and in the bonus game, our average reward was only 29x the total bet.
- But what is the reason? Looking at the paytable first. The good news is that there are 2 different Scatters (Scatters for the Free Spins and Bonus game Scatters), both of which pay the usual 100x the total bet. So, no shortages here. Also, the game is furnished with 3 different Wild symbols, all of which bring a value of only 10x the total bet for 5OAK. OK, here we would’ve liked more, especially considering there is no doubling the win if Wild is present in it. However, we see that the rest of the symbols are very low, valued from 10x the total bet to 0.8x the total bet for 5OAK.
- So, this is the reason for the poor overall performance. The high number of pay lines (720), the high hit frequency (over 39%), even the oftentimes dropping stacked Wilds could not save the balance. They can only help generate a few small wins and countless losses (empty spin or paid under the current stake). Therefore, we can only give neutral recommendations regarding wagering the bonus money – index 5.90 (out of 10).
- Another concern is the short cycle of the slot. Despite the high RTP (97%), the slot is reluctant to issue big wins. The prize pool is divided 75/25 in favour of the main game. The Free Spins, which are triggered with a low frequency – approximately every 145th spin convey in most cases weaker rewards than the Bonus game.
- All aspects measured: the game cannot deliver massive payouts, so it is not suited for players used to great risks and great rewards. However, it can meet the goals of the gambling enthusiasts content with medium size payouts, preferably in short sessions until a considerable bonus payout.
- The Pollen Party game gets its own reskin – the Candy Dream slot, which Microgaming released the same year – 2017, just a few months later. Both games are absolutely identical regarding RTP, Volatility, Paytable, Features, Max potential and popularity. The only difference is the design.
Apparently, the giant developer has cut out the math-skilled staff, leaving only the art personnel to carry the burden of presenting the company in the casino arena. That’s how no one could come up with different attributes for the second game. We sometimes think it is out of proportion: the developers’ repetitiveness on such a saturated market. They should be more cautious to preserve their good reputation!

Features
- Wild Pollen Party Logo – is paid modestly and replaces all symbols other than Sting Bee and Babee Scatters.
- Babee Bonus game – Landing 3, 4 or 5 Baby Bee Scatters (paid well: 100x the bet for 5OAK) will activate this feature where you get to choose from 20 hexagons which are almost all filled with sweet cash. One of them will ‘pop’ and end your chances to pick. One of them will reveal an extra life, which means you get to keep on picking and clicking on some more cash-delivering hexagons. Sadly, this feature cannot be triggered during Free Spins because the Baby Bee is absent in that mode.
- Free Spins – Landing 3, 4 or 5 Sting Bee Scatters (also paid well: 100x the bet for 5OAK) will be awarded with12 Free Spins where some more Wilds (exclusive to this mode) are added to the reels.
