Advantages
- Free Spins with Sticky mystery symbols
- Respins
- Multipliers
Disadvantages
- RTP range
On its 5×4 reels, free play Pandora’s Box of Evil slot only offers a total of 20 paylines for players to win with. They most certainly could have done more, and the same is true of the biggest jackpot that was advertised, which was 3 000 times the amount wagered, or C$300,000. You shouldn’t count on an RTP that’s greater than 96.20%, at least not as a level that the operators will choose.
The game has high volatility, and the lowest bet that can be placed is only C$0.05. At the very least, you can get started with it. It goes up to C$100, so it’s clear that high rollers weren’t ignored while designing this feature.
The game looks great, especially the flames on the sides and the view are impressive, as if we are in an ancient Greek temple, but that’s far from the main thing. The symbols and the grid don’t make much of an impression, the monsters, unlike some other games, do look quite scary, and Pandora is as beautiful as ever. During the free spins, everything changes as the view dims and the fires turn to flashes of lightning.
Features of Pandora’s Box of Evil Slot
- The wild, which is not the most fundamental of all the new features added in Pandora’s Box of Evil, will be the one that serves as a replacement for the ordinary combo types.
- There are also Mystery Symbols, which can appear anywhere on the reels. When one of these appears, it will convert into either a normal symbol or a feature symbol when it has done so. If you are fortunate enough to obtain wilds from among these mysterious symbols, then up to a fivefold multiplier might result from them.
- Spirit of Hope is the name of the respin feature, and for it to be activated, one of the game’s own symbols has to appear on the reels. Following this, the feature symbols, which may include wilds, scatters, or mystery symbols will remain in place for the length of the subsequent respin.
- Last but not least, if there are three scatter symbols in the game, you will be awarded eight free spins. It is a feature that may be activated several times. As you play it, you will discover that the mystery symbols get sticky and continue to be beneficial up to the end of the free spins.

Our opinion
We can’t say we’re thrilled with the game, but we’ll accept that it did pretty well. The mystery symbol helps a lot in forming winning combinations with good payouts. As we’ve noted more than once, we really miss the buy bonus feature on PlayN Go slot games.
Here it took us approximately 200 spins to get to the free spins round. If it had a buy feature, we would have certainly used it. Too many spins could also be due to bad luck. A potential payout of 6,000 times your bet sounds pretty tempting, but we’ve gotten used to much bigger values lately.
We recommend you test Pandora’s Box of Evil Slot for yourself and see if you have better luck than us. Unfortunately, after a few hundred spins, our account was at a minus.
