The martial arts action takes place on a 5×4 grid, crossed by 50 fixed paylines and comes with a few stealthy surprise features. The Mystery Symbols (Tree Stumps) frequently appear (in the base game and Free Spins) and always transform symbols into identical ones. The Stumps predominantly land in Stacks, but this doesn’t automatically lead to great results.
When they land on the last reels (which they often do), the effect is zero. When you do get a win, it’s 9 out of 10 times involving a lower-paid symbol. Every now and then the screen will turn black for a second, which means it’s time for a Ninja attack. Our silent assassin protagonist will make a lucrative appearance and attack a random number of symbols, turning them into Wilds.
The Ninja slot is of Medium Volatility, comes with a sensible RTP of 95.55% and displays an acceptable 29% hit success. Too bad the paytable is substandard (top symbol is the Wild female Ninja, paying 20x for 5OAK), and there are no Multipliers to be found in this game, so the max payout is delivered by a full screen of this Ninjette – 1000x the total bet. Many players might consider this insufficient for today’s standards.
