Personal testers’ opinion about Street Fighter 2: The World Warrior slot

  • Many people will be taking a trip to the memory lane playing Street Fighter 2: The World Warrior slot online. So did we, and to be honest, the trip wasn’t so successful. It was fun for a while but got tiresome soon. Also, the electronic background music with its short loop became pretty annoying after a while. All in all, it’s too busy and too boxy, according to us. Matter of taste, of course.

Review and recommendations by the testing team

  • Once you get over the nostalgia, you’ll have to pick a fighter and start fighting for your payouts. They’re the same as in the ’90s and haven’t aged a bit: Chun Li, Dhalsim, Honda, Blanka, Guile, Ryu, Ken, and Zangief. The main game is a battle between you and your opponent, which can consist of multiple spins. If one of the fighters runs out of health points, the round is finished. Your fighter inflicts damage whenever they win including your Victory or Defeat symbol. You are hurt and lose health points when wins include your opponents’ symbols. How many points you, or your opponent, lose is equal to the number of character symbols there are in a cluster win combo. If you’re the winner, you enter the Beat the Boss stage. If you lose, you get to release your anger and go to the Car Smash stage.
  • Every spin starts with an empty Wild gauge above your fighter’s head. Then, each high-value symbol included in a winning combination fills one square of the scale. When you fill 7 squares, and no more winning combos are created, your character will show his unique Wild feature and throw some Wilds randomly on the grid.
  • If you win the fight in the main game, you are awarded the Beat the Boss feature. In addition, you will receive an unlimited amount of Free Spins to fight 4 bosses on 4 different levels: Balrog, Vega, Sagat, and M.Bison.
  • With each round, you win the multiplier increases (x2, x3, x5, and x10). If you somehow manage to beat all the bosses’ asses, you are rewarded with x100 your bet.
  • It’s more likely that you won’t make it unscathed until the fourth round, but you are granted a merciful second chance every single time. Nothing is free, and this will also cost you, of course. The biggest portion of your hard-earned money you’ll have to sacrifice. It’s appropriately called ’the Insert Coin Gamble feature’ and can only be used once at the end of every Beat the Boss feature. It’s up to you to decide if it’s worth it, or to start all over again with the first round of Beat the Boss, later on in the game again.
  • If you decide to swallow your pride and give up the fight against the bosses, you still have the opportunity to release your anger in the Car Smash game round! You’ll get control with the on-screen character control panel and hotkeys to destroy the car and still get some cash out of it. In addition, you’ll receive a consolation prize of around 5x-15x total bets.

How to win at the Street Fighter 2: The World Warrior slot machine? (Conclusion)

  • The golden rule applies here too: Always test the game in the DEMO version before investing real money.
  • Street Fighter II: The World Warrior, with its RTP of around 96.06% and Medium-High Volatility, is one of those slots that will not appeal to everybody.
  • Being one unusual game with somewhat complicated rules most of the regular players soon will realize – here you cannot apply your normal slot strategies: breaking the cycle, using the ‘Spin’/’Max button’; playing till the first successful Free Spins round, or waiting for the repeating series of bonus features, etc.
  • Playing for the wagering requirements here is not recommended, as the game has no protective/compensating features to keep your balance at one steady level during the base game.
  • Playing for real money is also unpredictable and will make sense only if you are a die-hard fan of the 8-bit pixelated design combined with the Cascading mechanic. However, the game is truly feature-packed, and the biggest winning potential lies in the Beat the Boss round, during which you can win up to 7142x your stake.
